Not a chain store. A bakkal is personal and trusted, stocked with exactly what a household needs for daily life. It is where people went for fresh bread in the morning, where the owner knew your name and your usual order. These shops are part of Turkey's everyday fabric: authentic, traditional, and built on familiarity rather than scale.

Bakkal.ae was built around that same idea, brought to the UAE. We exist to get authentic Turkish products into people's homes quickly and reliably, delivered directly to the door, the way a good neighbourhood bakkal would have done it.

What Bakkal.ae Is

Bakkal.ae is the UAE's only dedicated online Turkish supermarket. We carry authentic food and beverage products imported directly from Turkey: the same brands available in Istanbul, Izmir, and Ankara, and deliver them to homes across the UAE.

We are the retail brand of Old Bazaar General Trading LLC, a Dubai-based importer established in 2010. Over fifteen years of direct relationships with Turkey's most respected food producers means we don't just list products. We source them carefully, store them correctly, and get them to you in the condition they were intended to arrive.

Delivery You Can Rely On

Fresh and chilled products are handled by our own team in temperature-controlled vehicles. That matters more than it sounds. Turkish white cheese, kaymak, and dairy need cold-chain handling, not a standard courier bag. What arrives at your door is in the same condition it left our store.

Orders above AED 105 qualify for free delivery. Same-day delivery slots are available in Dubai, subject to scheduling availability.
